Selena the Redux

This is Mokutekiyami's character that I've done before; but I feel I've really improved my quality control over the last couple o months, and I really like the character, so I figured I'd test my progress a bit. Hence the redo.

The other one on the bottom is The Ratpack. These are a bunch of kids from a comic I'll probably never get around to.

Dead O Night

Came out pretty good. The rubble could be a bit more crumbly, but I was too tired to ref it. Stills works as a whole tho, so I'm happy.
The hat looks ok I guess, but im still looking for a more field worthy head gear on this character. He's using a M16 A2 modded with an unrealistically long suppressor and sight for crack sniper duty.
Time to ruin it with colours.

Desert heat

With this drawing I wanted to maintain that white blasted look of a desert backdrop; or at the least a very, very dry place. Because the camouflage was supposed to be-- well; camouflaged, I could not get too bold with the colours or it would have ruined the monochramatic blending of the clothes and the backdrop. That only left me with the exposed body parts to play with. All in all it came out pretty good. For you gun nuts out there: shes packing a gun modeled after an Ingram M11 modified to fit a new muzzle+ vertical fore grip.

Phanna Bo Banna

Just another pic of that girl, this time in a desert-y back drop. Been trying to cut down my single character times to a reasonable 90 minutes. So I've been fully working out the drawings in bluline/pencil first b4 i jump into inks. Its been good for lowering inking+cleanup times.
