Cockpits, people and Suits, oh my.

This is the finalized designs for Roanoke's pilot suit and the final look I'm gonna go with for the cockpit of theCROATOA (affectionately dubbed "The Pod").

The version you see here is the one I did WITH outlines. I also did another one WITHOUT lines.
I'm a bit torn between the two. But I must say I'm happy with both the results.

Coloured FanArt + The Croatoa designs

While these are pretty rough ideas that I've put down on paper for theCroatoa, I will probably still be altering little thing as I go until I unveil the finalized body design, but as you can see, the head is pretty much locked in. the full sized legible version is here.

This is another alternate for the cockpit design. I wanted it to come in two flavours seated and crouched. I'm thinking that I'll go with the rounded style controls in this picture as opposed to the angular traditional ones in the top portion of theCROATAO drawing.

The finalized head shot of the Main Character's Real Class Robot (REALbot), theCROATOA.

The main body is still being ironed out but the head is definitely in. I need to see the finalized colour version of theCROATOA before I release the sketches.

BTW: Thats not greyscale, it's really black.

D/H Updates + The Rogues

D/H Ep01: Currently being dialog recorded right now, the animation itself nearing comppletion. I'm currently working on he more involved action sequences. SFX and such will be done once the voices are cast+recorded. Pics will be up later on in the week.

Unnamed Project: I'm not aiming for a rogues gallery of any kind right now, mostly problems of the week with one or two ongoing threats. Only time will tell in the end.

Supporting: Meet MyMechanic

Ah.... MyMechanic.
Well thats obviously not his real name, but thats what Ro (Roanoke) calls him. Why? You'll find out in time. His full name is Michal E.F. (Eugenio Felice) Otto, son of legendary engineer Alphonse N. (Nicolause ) Otto. Lead engineer of the TheCroatoa and Primary creator of the Otto power cores used in almost every Real and Super class production bot. He's the primary supporting character and will sometimes carry the primary story himself.

Introducing: Roanoke L. Sinclair.

Well, I've finally decided on a name for my lead character: Roanoke L. (Lafayette) Sinclair. Her Bot' will be called the TheCROATOA.

originally -see fig. drawing from yesterday- I was going to name Croatoa L. Sinclair but it just didn't roll of the tongue. the bot was to be called TheRoanoke to compliment her name of Croatoa. But after trying to say it out loud several times, Roanoke (Ro) sounded better for a name so I switched them.

Creation Development Part I +UPDATES.

District Heights Status: I've decided to shelve the series and make part 2 of the first Episode a separate stand alone animation. the reason is that I'm cutting it off for now and moving on with a new Yet-to-be-named concept.

New project Satus: There is no working title as of yet, the only definitive info I have to give is that the series will have lots of MEGAbots and a few SUPERmonsters. They will be no more than 1-3 minutes tops per installment. Most will be stand alone shorts, some may be continuations. All following a small cast of main character and 3 supporting characters.

The character development as in the title is already under way -see prev posts- final names will be released when the designs are final. Since I've got more of these coming [character designs] I'm gotta reorganize them (ala I,II,III etc.)
